Rhinoplasty<\/h2><\/div>

A large, aquiline, deviated nose, with a pronounced ridge, and a thick tip, is a subsidiary of undergoing surgery to give it a more harmonious shape and aesthetics. This intervention is called rhinoplasty and consists of remodeling a person's nose to give it a more anatomical appearance and in accordance with their physiognomy. There are multiple rhinoplasty techniques, although they tend to be grouped into two types of procedures:<\/p>

Open Rhinoplasty: An incision is required in the nasal columella to more easily address the different structures of the nose.
Closed rhinoplasty: The incision is made in the nasal vestibule without the need to make a visible incision in the columella.<\/p>

Depending on the type of patient, the plastic surgeon decides one technique or another for the best resolution of the nasal alteration. Rhinoplasty is a surgical intervention that is performed mainly on young people, although the age range is very wide. It is in the first decades of life in which the nasal appendage is one of the objectives of the gaze and the central point of human relationships. When a person decides to have nose surgery, they must know all the details of the intervention, the advantages and possible complications, the plastic surgeon, the clinic where the surgery will be performed, and the postoperative care.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Blepharoplasty<\/h3>

<\/h3><\/div>

It consists of a functional or cosmetic surgical procedure with the purpose of reshaping the upper or lower eyelid by eliminating and\/or repositioning excess tissue as well as strengthening the surrounding muscles and tendons. When a significant amount of skin is present on the eyelid, the skin can hang over the eyelashes and cause loss of peripheral vision. The outer and upper parts of the visual field are most commonly affected and the condition can cause difficulty with activities such as driving or reading. Patients with a less severe amount of excess skin can undergo a similar procedure for cosmetic reasons, to improve lower eyelid bags and reduce skin wrinkling.<\/p>

Blepharoplasty is performed through external incisions made along the natural lines of the eyelids, such as the stripes on the upper eyelids and under the eyelashes on the lower eyelids, or along the inner surface of the lower eyelid. It is an outpatient surgery, because it is not necessary for the patient to remain hospitalized and recovery is quick.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As people age, the effect of gravity, sun exposure and daily stress produce certain signs of aging on the face, aggravated by tobacco and alcohol habits. The folds between the mouth and nose become accentuated, the mandibular edge loses definition and the neck becomes flaccid.<\/p>

Lifts must be individualized for each patient. During the consultation, your surgeon will analyze your face, your skin type and your bone structure and will discuss the possibilities that surgery offers you. The interventions basically consist of \u201ctightening\u201d the muscle layers and skin, removing excess tissue. Each case may vary in terms of the placement and extent of the incisions, the areas of the face that need to be improved, the use or not of complementary techniques (blepharoplasty, profileplasties, etc.) and the duration of the intervention.<\/p>

After surgery, the postoperative period is usually not painful. The discomfort that generally appears is usually well controlled with regular pain relievers. The dressing and drainage tubes are usually removed in 24 to 48 hours.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
