TECHNIQUE
How are fillers applied?
Facial filler is an aesthetic medical procedure that is performed using very fine needles, through which filler substances are injected into the areas to be treated.
The session usually lasts between 20 and 30 minutes, although this time may vary depending on the corrections you wish to achieve.
Normally it is a treatment that does not require anesthesia, but if the patient is very sensitive to pain, a topical anesthetic cream or an injection of local anesthetic may be applied to the area where the substance is applied.
Its effects usually last approximately 8 months, and in some cases it is necessary to carry out a follow-up treatment 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment, in order to achieve optimal correction.
